Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Wilson Airport will be closed tomorrow during the Jamhuri Day Celebrations.
The temporary closure, Kenya Civil Aviation Authority- KCAA says will see JKIA closed for one hour between 11am and 12pm during which no flights will be allowed to take off or land.
Wilson Airport, on the other hand, will experience a 5-hour closure between 9am and 2pm. The closure is expected to aid the Kenya Air force flypast during the celebrations.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to preside over the ceremony at the Nyayo Stadium.
