GEMA cultural association leaders back BBI report

GEMA Cultural Association leaders have thrown their weight behind the BBI Initiative lauding it for fostering inclusivity and dignifying the opposition. Led by GEMA Chairperson Bishop Lawi Imathiu as well as Bishop Peter Njenga the leaders have however cautioned against passing some of the proposals within the BBI Initiative adding there is need for a national debate revolving around them. Speaking at Ufungamano House in Nairobi where they also announced Canon Peter Karanja as GEMA’s new Chief Executive Officer, the leaders also cautioned a section of politicians who have been insulting President Uhuru Kenyatta.
