Volvo Trucks partners with NECST Motors to increase the Volvo brand’s footprint in East Africa through an investment into 20 new workshops across the region, a parts warehouse and an assembly line for Volvo trucks in Mombasa. The partnership is in a bid to expand in the East Africa region. Through this partnership, NECST Motors becomes the exclusive importer of Volvo trucks in the region. The planned investment is expected to create approximately 300 direct jobs in addition to other indirect employment opportunities, and NECST Motors will train its employees to equip them with the most modern skill sets
