‘Unga’ not poisonous: KEBS lifts suspension on 2 brands

The Kenya Bureue of standards has lifted the suspension of two of the five maize flour brands which were banned over having excess levels of aflatoxin.
According to a statement  by KEBS Dola by  Kitui flour mills and Kifaru by Alpha Grain limited have met the requirements of the quality body and will proceed with the production of the brands .
This comes as Kitui flour  mills had recalled 48,000 packets of their Dola brand
