Over 900 families from Salah ward in Tana River County who were displaced by floods late last year have received a total of 5.2 million shillings as part of the Tana River floods response program 2018/2020. Speaking in Sombo, Arid Lands Development Focus (ALDEF) Program officer Mohamud Ali said the cash donation was the last phase of the programme that saw over 1,500 households receive 8.4 million shillings in Madogo ward between January and February this year.
