Tourism players are decrying the infestation of water hyacinth which is adversely affecting the growth of sector. The re-emergence of the stubborn weed in the Lake Victoria has affected water transport and tourism in the counties boarding the world’s second largest freshwater lake. Joseph Odhiambo a tour guide at Dunga Beach says with the presence of the weed at the lake, no tourism activity takes place.
