The government has rolled out a 4.7 billion shillings solar energy project to light up homes, towns and schools in fourteen counties. Energy Principal Secretary Joseph Njoroge has said the off-grip solar access program will see the distribution of solar powered systems and clean cooking solutions to about 1.1 million people the fourteen counties.
