Kenyan tea export volumes declined to 40.5 million kilos in February 2020 compared to 44.5 million kilos during a similar period last year, while the local tea sales dropped to 2.86 million kilos from 2.95 million kilos for the corresponding period of 2019. This however deviates from increased output to that stood at 49.2 million kilos against 31.44 million recorded in a similar period last year, according to the latest report by the Agriculture food authority.
