Tana River residents adamant to move despite government warning

Now, even with the overflow at Masinga Dam, some Tana River residents have defied the government’s warning of imminent flooding. NTV found some villagers busy in their farms, saying they will leave when they see a significant water increase, in the river. Others however said, they had not received news of the call to move to safer ground. Peter Mwangangi visited the area, where Kenya Red Cross officials have been urging residents to move out.
