The Alternative Providers for Basic Education and Training (APBET) have urged players in the sector to implement the ministry of education guidelines.
The guidelines target service providers supporting education in the informal settlements.
According to APBET national chairman Charles Ouma, the guidelines stipulate that APBET shall not only teach approved Kenya Institute for Curriculum Development’s (KICD) syllabus but that they will also adhere to timetabling guidelines for subjects and courses as provided by the Ministry of education.
