A 15 year old orphaned boy who sat the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations in 2018 and scored 347 marks has resorted to roasting maize to earn a living in Kapenguria, West Pokot county.
David Purisaro who lives with his poor grandmother, admits he has lost hope of joining his dream school of Chepkoriniswo boys high after failing to raise the requisite school fees.
Besides 50,000 shillings needed for school fees this year, he is required to do shopping worth Ksh. 20,000. Purisaro is now appealing for assistance from well wishers to help him pursue his dream.
