Scales of Justice – Musician accused of spreading ethnic hate charged

The Court of appeal has declined to suspend a high court decision that found Interior Cabinet Secretary and two senior government officers in contempt of court. Justice Patrick Kiage dismissed an application by Interior C.S Fred Matiang’i, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet and Director of Immigration Gordon Kihalangwa as lacking in merit. Meanwhile, a local musician accused of spreading ethnic hate has been charged for ethnic contempt. Ben Chumba with the details.
