It’s 10am Friday and at Industrial area-based Hi-Plast Manufacturers Ltd, we are greeted by a fleet of trucks and an army of men loading equipment.

Inside, the management is huddled together in a small circle in the middle of the godown where their factory stood.

Overhead, bands of electrical cables hang precariously – the power lines stripped off the bustling manufacturing plants they once supplied with voltage just a month ago.
