President Kenyatta warns aspirants against engaging in violence

Hours before the commencement of the Jubilee party nominations – President Uhuru Kenyatta has issued a stern warning to all aspirants to avoid engaging in any acts of violence or face immediate disqualification.

In an address  from State House Nairobi the President  expressed concern over rising incidents of violence in  several parts of the country insisting that the Jubilee party will not condone hooliganism by its aspirants or their supporters.

The President also expressed his willingness to mediate between rival factions for the Nairobi Gubernatorial ticket a day after the party postponed nominations  to tuesday next week.
