Nyandarua county Disaster management committee held a crisis meeting following the invasion of locusts into some farms in the county. The meeting resolved to carry out surveillance and track the movement of the locusts to prevent them from breeding. At the same time they will conduct a sensitization exercise to prepare farmers on how to deal with the pests once they invade their farms. Khalid Abdullahi with the details.
