Nandi county commissioner Lucy Mulili has advised the area county government to stop the issuance of operation permits to applicants wishing to run bars in the region.
Speaking in Kapsabet town Ms Mulili noted that major towns have a high number of bars which is a great effect to morals in society since it’s an incentive to uncontrolled cases of drinking.
The administrator also reiterated the war on illicit brew saying police officers in the region are keeping vigil to ensure brewers of the illegal drink are brought to book.
