Mombasa county government on the spot over garbage crisis

Last evening in our 9pm bulletin, we captured the filth in Nairobi and Nyeri, and tonight we focus our attention on the coastal city of Mombasa. It has been well over a month since Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan, Joho delivered his first speech at the county assembly, giving a list of projects he would prioritise in his second term. The issue of garbage, that is choking the coastal city, was top on his agenda, raising expectations among residents. Though the county government is making efforts to clean up, some residents are not feeling or seeing the impact.
