Ministers adopt all 13 non-binding resolutions at the the 3rd UNEA

The United Nations Environment Assembly has adopted all the 13 resolutions that were under discussion. The Environment Ministers have signed a three-page ministerial declaration, listing 16 declarations and 14 steps that each member state will take in order to achieve a pollution-free world. Top on the list of the action plan is increasing funding to research and development, and focusing on science-based decision making.
