The world today marked the international day of the girl child — a day that highlights the challenges faced by youthful women in  their daily struggles in life.
and today we focus our attention on girls among the Borana and Rendille communities in Marsabit county who continue to  lag behind their male peers due to the  retrogressive culture of early marriages.
 Nancy Onyancha tells us how  parents of young girls in Marsabit  cannot find justice for their daughters after illegally marrying them off at an early age.
