A Malindi based clergy has raised alarm over the arrival of Tanzanian witch doctors in country to perform rituals for politicians to emerge victorious during the August General Elections.
Bishop Thomas Kakala of Jesus Celebration Center (JCC) church said about unknown number of witch doctor has arrived in the region to perform rituals for giving politicians supernatural powers.
Speaking at his church office in Malindi, the clergy warned Kenyans against feasting on food prepared by politicians saying it is bait used for rituals to confuse them during voting.
Mr Kakala said that many politicians are now turning to witchcraft in order to get to fame and power to achieve their dream.
The vocal clergy said some politicians are now paying millions of shillings to get charms from witch doctors instead of seeking divine intervention to win the elections.
