Some 4,811 candidates who sat the 2019 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education cannot be accounted for. This is after the government disclosed that the 100 % enrolment to secondary schools achieved 99.8% transition representing 1,058,088 candidates. Speaking has he officially closed the form one mop-up exercise, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha noted that a total of 8 billion shillings have also been set aside to boost infrastructure in high schools so as to ensure that all those enrolled are facilitated to learn smoothly.
