Kilifi County Government has taken Six companies to court accusing them of fraudulently receiving 43 million shillings from the county coffers by manipulating the IFMIS system.
The companies are alleged to have colluded with 10 suspended county officials to steal the money, which is part of the 51 Million the county is said to have lost.
This comes as the Kilifi County governor, Amason Kingi, reiterates that he is the complainant and not suspect in the loss of the county money.
