My memo tonight is about memories or our lack of it. I say this because of what I realised today during the 41st anniversary of the death of Kenya founding father, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. I was on duty when today’s event was beaming live on television. And President Kenyatta immediately started talking about how Jomo Kenyatta’s death had a huge impact on this country. But I soon realised that this bit of information counts for little for the bulk of the country;’s younger generations.
