IEBC rendered dysfunctional after three of remaining six commissioners resign
Tonight the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has been rendered dysfunctional. Three out of the remaining six commissioners have resigned in protest, accusing the Chairman of inability to steer the electoral body.
Connie Nkatha Maina, Margaret Wanjala Mwachanya and Paul Kurgat, say they have no faith in the chairman Wafula Chebukati, who last week insisted the Commissions CEO Ezra Chiloba must stay out of office for 90 days, to allow for investigations.
