Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei was Tuesday afternoon freed on a personal bond  after he was arrested earlier in the morning at his Eldoret home, by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, over incitement remarks he made at a funeral over the weekend.
Cherargei was later whisked away by detectives from the Eldoret central police station to the Kisumu central police station where he was  interrogated further  before being released.
This as Nandi governor Stephen Sang,  accused the DCI of targeting deputy president William Ruto’s allies.
