Nandi governor Stephen Sang has been released on a one million shillings bond after he pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against him following destruction of tea bushes at the Kibwari tea estate. Sang who was accompanied by his allies from the county government however showed no remorse, blaming the courts for siding with his adversaries. Appearing before Kisumu Senior Magistrate Beryl Omolo, Governor Sang was charged with malicious damage to property, incitement and abuse of office
