Former ps Sammy kirui and town clerk John Gakuo jailed

Former local government Permanent Secretary Sammy Kirui and former Nairobi Town Clerk John Gakuo have been handed a three year jail term for abuse of office and breach of procurement laws. Anticorruption Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogot convicted the two for failing to stop the irregular purchase of a cemetery land where the tax payer lost 283 million shillings. Meanwhile, controversial preacher is finally out on bail after the high court granted him a 10 million shillings bond. Ben Chumba reports.
