Embu signs deals worth Ksh 300 billion in second investment conference

Embu county has inked deals worth 300 billion shillings at the second investor conference, targetting investments in green energy, value addition industries, financial services, mining and, manufacturing, and the projects are set to begin in the next few months.

The county says these investments will not only bring economic growth to Embu, but also create employment for the youth. Embu has seen a lot of political disturbance since 2014 with the attempts to impeach Governor Martin Wambora, and his administration says that uncertainty cost the county 700 billion shillings, because would be investors was scared away.
