The embattled Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has been thrown into a further crisis after three commissioners resigned. IEBC vice chairperson Constance Maina, Paul Kurgat and Margaret Mwachanya quit citing poor leadership by chairman Wafula Chebukati. In a statement, Chebukati said he learnt of the move from the media and has not received any resignation letters. The resignations now leave only three commissioners in office who can not conduct any business due to lack of quorum.
