Cuba declares 9 days of mourning for Fidel Castro who died aged 90

Fidel  Castro, a titan of the cold war and father of communist Cuba who led the country for nearly half a century died Friday night at the age of 90.
 His brother and Cuban President Raul Castro announced on state television, that the former revolutionary who defied 11 American Presidents and thrust Cuba onto the world stage will be cremated today as per his wishes. 
 Despite the man who was widely regarded as, “the giant of the third world” at his peak, being accused of driving his country into economic ruin, denying basic freedoms to 11 Million Cubans, strangely he was at the same time credited for turning the island nation into a place of equality and social justice nine days of mourning have so far been declared.
