18,000 coffee farmers from 12 selected co-operatives in central and western regions now have a chance to modernize their practice and improve quality of yields. This follows them being enlisted in a Nestle programme valued at 23 million shillings. The programme intends to finance extension services and equipment purchase, establish coffee demonstration, as well as conduct soil analysis. Bungoma, Kericho and Nandi are among counties targeted.
