Christians to pray for Kenya over political situation

The Clergy under the National Prayer Committee have called on faithful from all religions to come together and pray for the nation given the political uncertainty in the country.

The committee said the church has a role to ensure normalcy even during high political temperatures.

Led by the committee director Apostle John Kimani William who addressed a press conference at the Heaven’s gate prayer mountain in Gilgil Nakuru County, they regretted that the prevailing political confusion in the country has also resulted in division among the clergy.

He regretted that it is only in the light of bad politics that people come to know of the tribes yet the same is not recognized when problems prevail.
