Capital Markets Authority to hold its third annual policy proposal round table

Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is year holding third annual policy proposal round table to hold discussion with various stakeholders, as the law requires that it hold such an event before end of December 2017 to submit proposals to the government that will result in the deepening of the capital markets in terms regulatory framework and development aspects.
The regulator is also proposing for preferential corporate tax treatment to attract equities listing at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) be implemented across all the existing market segments on a pro-rata graduated basis.
