Africa’s food crisis is becoming severe by the day due to the effects of climate change and low investment. The number of people facing under-nutrition has jumped to 256 million people as the continent suffered severe drought in 2018. The Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa AGRA says there is need to modernize agriculture, invest more in research and embrace modern ways of farming to make the continent food secure.
