The government was today moving to stem the growing animosity against the ongoing transfer of headteachers with six members of the Makueni county assembly being arrested for blocking the new principal of St. Joseph  Girls high school from accessing the school.
The action came a day after a section of MCAs in Bungoma stormed into Friends School Kamusinga and ejected the newly posted headteacher from office with inspector- general of police Joseph Boinnet directing his officers to arrest and charge anyone propagating such actions.
